Biira patience’s Journey to Economic Independence Through Basket Weaving

Encouraged by her progress, Biira reinvested her earnings by purchasing two additional weaving rolls. From these, she made so far made 10 baskets, sold 5 this in January 2026, generating total sales of 50,000 Uganda shillings. This showed clear growth in both her production capacity and income. With this money, she took an important step toward diversification by starting a small pancake business, which she now runs alongside her basket weaving activities.
